    Pakistani celebrities express their anger at Barbaric Incident Of Zohra Shah’s Death

    An eight-year-old girl, Zohra Shah, was mercilessly beaten to death in Rawalpindi by her employer for allegedly setting an expensive parrot free.

    It has been said that Zohra Shah was rushed by the bystanders to a hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.

    The incident took place earlier this week and since then, the netizens have been demanding for the justice for the minor girl and her family.

    After the incident, a number of local celebrities also took to their social media accounts and raised their voices against the horrific act of the employer.

    They have been asking justice from the officials under the hashtag of #JusticeForZohraShah and the internet is filled with their tweets.

    The Superstar actress Mahira Khan took to her Twitter account and shared Zarrar Khoro’s tweet with the caption:

    The demons walk freely among us.

    Waseem Akram’s wife Shaniera Akram informed her followers about child labour and wrote:
    Anyone who has a person working for them in their house who is under the age of 14, and I don’t care if they are your longtime staff members son or daughter who’s living with you, you are breaking the law.If you really want to look after that child then send them to school not work.

    One of the famous Pakistani comedians Ali Gul Pir wrote:

    If a child who was killed because she wanted a bird to be free can’t get justice. Then nothing that you have achieved matters #basicHumanRight #JusticeForZohraShah.

    The Alif Allah Aur Insaan actress Ushna Shah has always been vocal about child and human rights. She also shared her opinion and wrote:

    “Those of you who aren’t asking the right questions are shaping the priority of our nation, this makes us collectively sucks”

    Moreover, a number of welfare organizations were also left in fumes after the news went viral on social media.

    The official account of Kasur Hamara Hai, a movement for child welfare in Pakistan to raise awareness for an equal right to health, education, and protection for children, also posted:

    If calls for #JusticeForZohraShah mean anything beyond Twitter, it is time to stand up against ALL child labour – informal and formal. Know the laws and press the state to create & implement them. Do you even know that except in Punjab, child domestic labour is not illegal?

    The Minister of Human Rights Shireen Mazari then informed the nation that the lawyers are following the case and the employer and his wife is on four day remand.

    She wrote:

    Viz case of domestic child maid Zohra abused & killed – MOHR is in touch with police. Our lawyer is following case.Husband & wife on 4 day remand. Mohr proposed amend to add domestic labour as hazardous occupation in Schedule 1 of Employment of Children Act1991
